I like this watch. I can't put my finger on exactly why I like it. I just do.
I know it has to do with the color. The outer color is one of those just-so variations of tan that soothes the eyes and calms the nerves. You could take this exact color and paint a wall with it and it wouldn't have the same effect. But, for this watch it's perfect (Talk about Synchronicity...Jung would be proud).
The whole has a very 70s feel to it, but is discreet enough to wear with just about anything casual. The Japanese mechanical movement winds up and works great.* Also, the movement has colored parts and other oddities that I've never seen before. It's neat.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a fan of Watch-it brand quartz watches. I can't tell you how many times they've "accidentally" slipped from my grasp and under the tires of a moving vehicle.
But, this watch is different. It's cool. It's mellow. And, if you are quick, it could be yours.
