Insanely Adorable Timex Piglet Watch. - $35.00

Just look at his (I guess Piglet is a he) little face. I mean, come on, don't you just want to squeeze him and pinch his wittle cheeks? And the look on his face...he looks sooooo happy! Or gassy. Or happy because he's gassy. Maybe Winnie isn't the only Pooh.

Regardless, it's a cute look.

It's also a cute watch. Because it's made by Timex, it'll take a licking and keep o...

Mens Vintage Remington Electra Watch. - $45.00

With its 'lespaulesque' sunburst coloring in a gold-tone stainless steel case, this Remington Electra is a great addition to any vintage watch fan's collection.
It goes great with jeans or with business casual, and gets attention everywhere it goes. Case, crystal, and dial are in tip top condition, with only tiny micro-scratching viewable up close. The Japanese mechanical movement works great.
This is the perfect vintage watch to become your everyday wearer. Not too flashy, not too plain, and, most importantly, not too expensive.

Vintage Timex Cinderella and Fairy Godmother Watch

What a cute watch. Cinderella looking dazed and confused, though sweet and pretty as ever, as her fairy godmother wiggles her wand and magics Cindy's rags to riches.
Few other stories capture the innocence and happily-ever-after joy better than Cinderella. Of course, that's leaving out one of the original versions in which the evil stepsisters have their feet lopped off when they can't fit in the lost shoe.
On a brighter note, the only thing you'll have lopped off when you buy this watch is your frown. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
Made by Timex, the colorful cartoon dial is set in a stainless steel case and topped with a faceted crystal. Case, crystal and dial are in excellent condition, with only micro scratching only visible upon very close inspection. The watch has a new leather band put on, but the original band is included. It's a little worse for the wear, but likely can be refurbished to a great degree with some leather cleaner and conditioner. The Timex quartz movement works perfectly.
This watch will be gone faster than the stroke of midnight, so hop in your pumpkin, harness up the mice, and toodle on over to grab it before it's gone.

Lorus Large Dial Minnie Mouse Watch / Cute and Very Collectible. - $80.00

You can get a Minnie Mouse watch, or you can get a BIG Minnie Mouse watch.
This is the BIG watch.
Made by Lorus, it's a quartz powered, gold-tone stainless steel goliath. For comparison, check out the third picture.* On the left is a lady's sized watch, while the two on the right are typical men's sizes. Now, look at the gargantua in the middle. Whoa.
This watch is partner to the Mickey Mouse version, which has a glowing dial, and is in great condition. The case has only very minor micro scratching and the crystal is flawless. The movement works fine. The only real signs of wear are on the back of the band where some of the the material has begun to wear away, and on the front where it has a loose stitch. I'll leave the original band on, but will include a new band if you'd like to replace it.
As big at it is, it still looks great on the wrist and is great fun to wear for a kid or a kid at heart.

*Only the large Minnie Mouse watch is included in the sale, the others are for comparative purposes only.

Jaz Minnie Mouse Watch / Cute and Collectible - $80.00

Sure, everybody wants a Mickey Mouse watch. But what about Minnie? She seems to be the more mature of the two, quieter, not as dramatic an attention hog as her boyfriend, Mickey.
Minnie (short for Minerva. It's true.), prefers to have fun with her friends Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow, rather than gadding about getting into scrapes and binds. She's the even-keel to MIckey's maelstrom, the rare jewel to Mickey's lump of coal
Here's a watch that suits her. Not gaudy like many Disney watches, this watch is subtly pretty in shades of pink. Made by the short-lived Jaz (a sub-label of Lorus, the ubiquitous Disney watchmaker) it, along with all other Jaz watches, has become a sought after collectible.
The watch is in terrific condition with only very minor scratching along the bezel (which looks and feels like aluminum, but actually is Stainless Steel), and micro scratching on the crystal, not visible except upon close inspection. The band is nylon and leather and is in great shape. The watch is powered by a Japanese quartz movement (Lorus, and by extension, Jaz, are both brands of and made by the venerable Seiko) and it works great.
Mickey gets all the attention. Give a little wrist-time to Ms. Minnie Mouse and let her shine for a while.

Vintage 1984 Swatch Chrono-Tech. Bold and Beautiful. - $65.00

I've always had an affinity for Swatch watches (except for those hideous PopSwatches). When I was in school back in the 80s, I had tons of them. I also had a drawer full of those little rubber 'protector' bands that were de rigeur for Swatch wearers. Somebody made a killing off of those things.
However, when I got a little older, I got rid of my Swatches. I don't know what I did with them. Actually, I don't know what my parents did with them. I came home from college one weekend and my old room had been stripped to the bare walls. Anything of even questionable value was gone. My parents claim they don't remember what they did with all the stuff, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it all went into a huge neighborhood yard sale.
Of course, Swatch is one of the few brands identified with the 80s that actually survived the 80s. Not only that, Swatch went on to thrive. Now, vintage swatches are collectors items, some going for ridiculously high prices.
Of all my many swatches, I only managed to hold on to a very few. I have acquired a few more over the years, but nowhere near the hoard I once had. Sigh.
Well, the Swatch here is a 1984 Chrono-Tech, and is pretty cool. You've got to admit that some Swatches are a little wacky, but many are pretty neat.
This Chrono-Tech is in very good condition, though it shows some signs of wear, mostly on the strap. I've been told that Swatch straps can be cleaned by soaking them in warm water with a drop or two of dishsoap added, but haven't tried it. The watch case and plastic crystal are in great condition with very little scratching. The quartz movement works great, too.
I really didn't want to sell my Swatches. In the end, I decided that I'll never wear them, and even though they're neat, I don't have any use for them. Of course, the day they ship to a buyer, I'll have occasion of winning one trillion dollars if only I can produce a Swatch, pronto. Which I won't be able to do because I just sold every last one. Irony can be hilarious, but only when it happens to someone else.
Anyhoo, here's a Swatch. It's from 1984. Now, in 2012, you can have it in exchange for some money.
