Don't call this a watch.
Call it a stare. Call it a contemplate. Call it a gaze.
Call it absolutely stunning, ravishing. Call it exquisite.
Call it yours and smile.
What do you think about when you read the word "Haiku"?
Simplicity and elegance? A thing familiar yet slightly exotic? A thing well-crafted, without the taint of artificiality?
Well, this Haiku is all that and more.
The case is made of cool, deep, almost liquid, Onyx backed by 18 karat Gold Plated stainless steel. Beneath the flawless crystal, the hands are made of that same plated steel, set into a dial of Abalone that shimmers in the light. It seems to shift and reform, composing tiny new horizons each time you look at it. There seem deeps within it, the play of shadows and undercurrents, like a pool of sparkling, swirling, ephemeral color that holds your attention with an almost irresistible charm.
Gold-plated lugs hold a genuine Lizard strap that gently squeezes your wrist like a guiding hand.
Within the case, a Japanese quartz movement keeps things ticking.
Unlike the Japanese literary form, there is nothing obscure about this Haiku.
Get it, and you'll "get it".

A place for things interesting and odd, fleeting and ephemeral, beautiful and strange. There are no constants here, only bits of imagination, cast-away pieces of unknown lives, things unique, seen once to be seen never again. Here is the magic of attraction, the glamour of acquisition. We are merchants of things pulled from dreams, purveyors of accessories to personality. Sometimes we have much, sometimes very little, but there is always pleasure in the seeking.
